Springtime at Scotts means exciting new menus for our Troon and Largs restaurants, and top of the list as ever is a whole lot of deliciously fresh Scottish seafood! As you might have guessed, our Executive Chef Craig Hogarth is passionate about local produce. He has frequently been known to head to the harbour before daybreak to get the pick of the day’s catch.
Of course, with over 12,000 kilometres of pristine coastline, Scotland can lay claim to some of the finest seafood in the world. Quite frankly we can’t get enough of it, from fishy favourites like sustainable haddock, cod and mackerel, to freshly-landed langoustines, razor clams, lobster and even squid.
