A Day in The Life Of Jason

We’re thrilled to introduce you to Jason, our new Head Chef at both Scotts Port Edgar and Outboard. From becoming a Chef at the age of 15 to setting up his own business in his mid-twenties, Jason has already crafted an impressive career which has now led him to our doorstep!

Since joining us, Jason has not only been embraced by an amazing team that shares his passion for food, but his fresh perspective and exciting ideas have injected some culinary creativity into our delicious dishes.

But what’s a typical day like for Jason?…

 

“My favourite thing to do in the morning is spend some time down at the beach with my dog, Jasper…nothing beats a nice coastal walk to wake you up in the morning!

Once Jasper is tucked back up in the house, I head in to work and join the team in doing some prep work to set ourselves up for a busy day.

Shortly after, I jump on the pass, making sure every dish is nothing short of perfection and before you even know it, its home time!”
